Guy Fieri’s Chefs for Maui
Our culinary team was privileged to join Food Network celebrity Guy Fieri at the unforgettable Guy Fieri Foundation “Chefs for Maui” fundraiser this past weekend. This extraordinary event brought together 38 chefs from Sonoma County to create an 18-course dinner. The event was an incredible success, rallying the community to raise over $1.5 million for the Hawaii Restaurant Association and The Salvation Army Hawaiian and Pacific Islands Division.
Sonoma County understands the devastating impact of wildfire disasters on a community. When Maui faced the aftermath of their August wildfires, it was a true honor for us to extend a helping hand. Before his role at Bricoleur Vineyards, Chef Thomas Bellec had been at the culinary forefront at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in Hawaii, and Chef Todd Knoll actually grew up in Hawaii, making this cause deeply personal to the entire Bricoleur team. Being part of this event was a truly remarkable and meaningful experience.
Chef Knoll and Chef Bellec presented a Hawaiian Style Yakitori Shrimp, a delicately grilled sweet shrimp glazed in a tantalizing Ginger Lemongrass BBQ sauce garnished with Monterrey Bay Ogo and Bubu Arare, accompanied by a velvety Silken Tofu and a silky-smooth Celeriac Mousseline.
It was an extraordinary event. We had a great time connecting with the culinary community of Sonoma County and supporting Guy Fieri’s Chefs for Maui’s fundraiser.
