In Chef Shane’s own words:

“This recipe takes me back to my childhood holiday gatherings like no other. The only time of year my Mom would make this recipe was for Christmas gatherings. It is incredibly simple and one of my favorite sweets.”

Ingredients:

  • 1 12.oz package of semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 10.oz bag of mini marshmallows
  • 1 can of Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
  • 8.oz of dry roasted peanuts
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 pinch of sea salt

Method:

Heat a medium pot of water over medium heat. In one medium mixing bowl add chocolate chips, milk, and butter. In a second bowl add marshmallows, peanuts, and a pinch of sea salt.

When water is just below a simmer place the bowl with the chocolate over the pot and turn heat to low.

Stir until chips, milk, and butter are all melted together and mix well. Pour into the bowl with the peanuts. Mix well. Line a 13×9 pan with wax paper. Pour into pan and chill.

When ready to serve cut with a warm knife.

Bon Appétit & Happy Holidays!
