By: Kim Coleman and Isabella Cirelli

As Valentine’s day approaches, celebrate your friendships with a glass of wine and a flower crown. Have all your gal pals over for flower crown making party! Pamper yourselves with Bricoleur wine and have fun creating your crowns.

You Will Need:

  • Floral Tape
  • Floral Wire (thick and thin)
  • Wire Cutters
  • Floral Shears
  • Pink and White Ribbon
  • Small Pink and White Roses
  • Jasmine Greenery
  • Other Greenery

How To:

Step 1: Measure a piece of thick floral wire that is big enough to fit around half your head and cut.

Step 2: Create small loops on each end of the wire. These will be used to attach the ribbon at the end.

Step 3: Wrap the floral wire with floral tape. Make sure to cover the sharp ends of the loops with floral tape.

Step 4: Cut the thin floral wire into 3-inch strands. You will need about 10 strands.

Step 5: Pierce the thin wire through the base of the rose and then fold the wire down towards the stem. Repeat this step for each rose.

Step 6: Wrap the thin wire with floral tape to secure it to the stem of the rose. Repeat for each rose.

Step 7: Lay out the roses in the design you want them on the flower crown.

Step 8: Begin adding the roses to the thick floral wire and secure them by wrapping the stem of the rose to the floral wire with floral tape.

Step 9: Add your greenery along with the roses to the thick floral wire and secure with floral tape.

Step 10: Continue adding your roses and greenery to the thick floral wire. Stop once you reach your desired fullness for the crown.

Step 11: Add the pink and white ribbons. Put the ribbon through the loops on each end of the thick floral wire and tie them to secure. Cut the ends of the ribbon for a more polished look.

Step 12: Finish by placing the flower crown on your head and tie the ribbon for the perfect fit. And you’re done!
