Winery Activities

Overlooking the sparkling waters of the San Francisco Bay, you’ll immerse your senses at Pier 27, which is transformed into a splendid and roomy tasting hall for our Grand Tasting. This all-day Zinfandel expedition will present over 100 participating wineries. During the first portion of the day, winemakers and winery principals will be pouring reserve bottles, limited availability wines, and barrel samples at their tables. Be sure to visit the culinary stations to sample delectable bites from leading chefs. You’ll delight in these sophisticated samples paired with the wines. Other selections will inspire you to seek out new flavor combinations. The afternoon tasting highlights hundreds of different Zinfandel’s from California’s unique growing regions. And, throughout the tasting, you’ll meet many accomplished winemakers—legends who have helped make Zinfandel into California’s cult grape and the rising stars carrying Zinfandel into the future.
